Parade Picture Play Pack
Turn the parade into a hands-on building adventure. Kids color and assemble an accordion-fold city street with shops and blank billboards, a skyline with a Broadway-style theater marquee (they name the show!), parade balloons, a pull-along float, and a cast of characters on stands.
Then the challenges begin. Six challenge cards invite kids to build the tallest skyline, engineer a float that rolls, test whether their balloon can stand up to the wind (fan it with a scrap of cardboard, adjust the support, and test again), tell the story of their parade, and, if you have one, code a robot to march the route.
Use it with the Thanksgiving Parade Big Picture as the parade route, on a Parade Little Picture placemat, or on a route the kids draw themselves. It’s creativity, engineering, and storytelling in one afternoon.
